Here we go again!

Here's another sample using the Vintage Vogue stamp set that is available starting today - AND it's available in wood mounted or clear block. I also used our new border punch. These are just two of the items available in the new Occasions Mini Catalog that is only available today thru April 30th. For ink and cardstock I used Soft Suede and Bermuda Bay.

New Year - New Toys

Happy New Year one and all!

I finally got a chance to play with some of my new toys. I love the new punches and have even gotten a chance to play with the new clear blocks - OH did I fall in love with them!!! I had tried those clear blocks in the past, but they were so clutzy. I just love the new SU! ones. They fit so well in your fingers. You can see thru the block to see where you are stamping. BUT we haven't sacrificed the rubber. It's still a rubber stamp. The best of both worlds in my opinion. The other stamps I had tried with clear blocks didn't hold the ink or didn't hold it evenly. Well, we all know how well SU! rubber inks.

SAB is just around the corner (can you say FREE stamps?) - in fact, it starts Tuesday!!! The same time that the new Occasions Mini Catalog goes live. I hope that each and everyone of you have had a great Christmas. That you were able to get together with family & loved ones to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.

I'm sure you all know what is at the top of the list for my New Year's resolutions - stamp more and share more! I am working on some stamp camps - and plan to make them available to those of you who can't attend as well.

I have a few things yet for 2009 to get cleared up, so that I can start 2010 on a clean slate.

I'm still here

Life has kicked into overdrive. My part-time job went to full-time for a while longer. Our home was broken into. A nasty cold got a hold of me big time.
I will be posting some Christmas cards in the next couple days.

Here is another card idea that I did last night using the ornament punch and the Sweet Centers stamp set. And to think, I almost didn't get that punch because I thought it was just for Christmas time!!
