It's August Already

Yes, August is here. I'm still not sure what happened to July. It seems like I was just celebrating the 4th of July and now it's already the 5th of August. I guess all the back to school sales is a pretty good clue that summer is almost over.

Here is another card I made recently using the Things I Love stamp set along with Soft Suede, Crushed Curry, and Dusty Durango cardstock, Razzleberry Lemonade designer series paper, and a touch of Soft Suede ribbon. I also used the scallop circle, 1 1/4", and Eyelet border punches.

Speaking of Designer Series Papers - I will again be doing a DSP Club - details to be posted tomorrow. This was such a big hit with the last catalog I just knew I had to do it again! I will also be posting the details on a Notecard Kit that I will be offering during August.

I'm still here

Yes, I"m still here. I've just been extremely busy. Last week Tuesday, hubby went back to work following his recovery from surgery. The very next day, our son and his family arrived from Maine. And to top it all off, I started a new job on Thursday. The job is only 2 days a week, so I will still have plenty of time to stamp.
Here are a couple cards I have created this past week. The first one is using the new Circle Circus stamp set along with In Color colors, ribbon and Designer Series Paper.
This next card uses more of the In Colors along with the Things I Love stamp set.

And of course, I just have to share a picture of all the grandchildren together.
Kristen is 5, Nathan is 7, Nicholas is 6, and Nolan is 10.

An Anniversary card

My daughter and her husband celebrated their 13th anniversary today! I've been having so much fun with the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder that I decided to use it for their card. Of course my new In Colors are still on the top of my pile, so I used Bermuda Bay cardstock, ink and ribbon.

I'm baaaaaaack . . .

My 'puter finally came home from the shop - 10 days and $$$ later. So, now I can share some cards with you. I will start with a wedding card I made for Amanda & Jason's wedding that I attended today. Of course, the bride was beautiful and the groom was nervous! For their card I used the new Elegant Bouquet embossing folder. I also used Pretty in Pink & Bashful blue, and So Saffron cardstock. After embossing the white cardstock, I lightly chalked it. Other acccesories included the new butterfly punch & white half pearls from the Pretties kit.

Watch for more samples soon.
